Nokia Logo Express

Nokia Logo Express

A Freeware program by Jeremy Wu from Taiwan. Supports group graphics and operator logos and even startup logos (dimension: 84 x 48 pixels) which are displayed after entering PIN when phone is turned on. If a welcome note (Menu 4-4-4) is stored in phone startup logo will not be displayed. You can use this program via infrared or cable connection without NCDS installed. Since version 2.0b7 netmonitor can be activated. Additionally the program is able to read security code from phone. A helpful function is the preview of all logos stored in active directory of the fixed disk. Infrared and cable connection are supported.

Activate NetMonitor under Tools -> Netmonitor; by entering one of the following values:
241Netmonitor off
242Netmonitor display 1-19
243Netmonitor all displays
LogoExpress supports Tekram IR210b IR-dongle. You first must install directComm which you can get on my download-page or directly from Tekram; subsequently adjust COM port settings in Logo Express to 210b's port and activate IrDA chekbox. Now you should be able to connect to your phone.

In the current version 3.0b1 a ringtone function and 8210/8850 support were added. To connect a Nokia 8210/8850 mobile phone via infrared connection your PC IR-device must be set up as generic IR-port. Activate snake two player mode to connect, infrared function in phones menu will not work.

In late February 2001 version 3.0 final was released. According to the programmer this will be the last version and the program will not be developed any further. Sad but true.

Download speed from Taiwan is very slow, so I offer a download from a fast server in Germany:
